Shameless Self Publicity.

Hello again, it's been a while since we sat down and had a talk so bear with me while I find my bearings. I'm going to have a trawl through the blogoverse or whatever it's called these days to catch up with all the good friends I met when I used to do this. So if you are still plugging away out there I'll get to you eventually and well done for keeping the flag flying.
Blimey, last time I posted anything was September 2013 and I haven't been near since then so sorry about that.
But I come here with ulterior motive, a good friend and I have been putting together our own website and I want to plug it like a talk show guest whose just brought a book out. The aim of the site is to celebrate all the things in life that we consider to be authentic. It's kind of hard to explain but I suppose that here in the developed world everything is about making money and selling shit, not that there is anything wrong with that as such but it's not the be all and end all. What we are trying to show is people and things that strike a chord within us that makes us see that each of us is unique and some people reach within themselves and produce that uniqueness.
Bugger, I'm not selling this right. It sounded great in my head but when I write it down it doesn't sound as eloquent.
The best thing to do is to visit the site and look for yourselves, it is still at an early stage but I'm still getting to grips with building a website so it will improve and grow rapidly. The link is authentism.co.uk.
Good hunting and see you around.

Welcome back to blog land, site sounds good too, making that extra bit of effort sure should be celebrated this day in age.

Sounds like you're brainstorming a unique optimistic site! I'll definitely check it out. In this century, money is everything. At least everything when it comes to getting your needs taken care of. It's the wants that have us in their grip.

Well hello there slacker! 2013? Christ, was it that long ago?
I like the sound of this authenticity thing. Isn't authenticity a bit like rocking horse shit these days? Pleased to hear you and your mate are bringing back and I'll check it out.

Hi!!!! I was so happy to see your name at my blog. :) You did a fine job of explaining the new site's purpose.

My daughter's been down in Central America for a study abroad program and is enamored with their simpler, non-materialistic lifestyle. It's had me thinking a lot about authenticity and this Stepford existence I often feel trapped inside. I think I shall quite like your new site.
