One Careful Lady Owner.

After my car accident last week my insurance company have written my car off. this comes as no surprise as both air bags deployed and the front of my car was pretty much stoved in. They have told me how much money they will give me for my car so I have spent the last couple of days looking at cars on line.

So tomorrow I will be physically going and looking at some of the cars I have been perusing on the internet.
To be honest, I hate buying cars. I always feel like I am entering a poker game with the rules stacked against me.

When I go shopping I tend to know exactly what I am going for and try to get the whole thing over with as quickly as possible, which I know is a weakness that will be exploited by the car salesman.

I know, I am getting another car so why am I moaning?
Well I'll tell you why, this is my blog and I'll put whatever I want on here, so shut up.

I'm thinking about a Skoda Fabia, boring but reliable.

I have no reason to car shop. Favorite Young Man keeps my '99 Nissan running perfectly. But I feel sorry for you, and you are absolutely right. It's your blog. Bitch all you want.

Love,
Janie

I think that getting a safe and reliable car would be the best idea buddy, at the end of the day the most important thing is that the car gets you from A to B and has no real reliability issues, in my opinion at least. I love when car advertisements specify the female owner bit and how it's a swaying point for some people.

Reminds me of a joke (yeah what doesn't?).
"Hey, I got a new car."
"Did you get a Falcon?"
"Naw, I got a good deal."
I didn't say it was a good joke.

I did my last two online. And still I had to hang out at the dealership for more than an hour.

We got our last one through the auto club. Good luck.

LOL. I feel the same way about car shopping. My favorite car purchase actually came off Ebay, and for anyone who has cash, that's the ONLY way to go. (I'm convinced.)

Sounds like you've had some miserable luck of late. At least you have the intestinal fortitude to still post in the midst of all this turmoil.

"I'm thinking about a Skoda Fabia, boring but reliable." - Boring, but reliable works. Anyway, your most important consideration for any car you'll own is your safety. Entertainment add-ons such as MP3 players are added frills. Sure they'll make you feel better with your car, but that shouldn't be your priority. I'm glad nothing serious happened to you and that you were able to replace your car with a new one.
